Time for a quick update for Y2K. I can move more of my right cheek, but not fully. It is coming back VERY SLOW! How slow could it go? :(. I saw the surgeon about a month ago and he said it was improving very slowly. I stop using the Therabite since I can exercise and open my mouth without any devices. I just need to stretch it (about 30 minutes and twice a day). I can save some H2O and time without the useful device. I just I hope I can keep this up so I don't have to go back to it. As for the next surgery, I am still not ready. Ask God about the release date (computer joke if you didn't get it :P).
Other life events haven't really changed much. Finally, I got a payraise a few weeks ago and 401K a few months ago so I am happy about my job. I hope that good stuff keeps up. My folks and I are still looking for a decent house closer to workplaces (Los Angeles), but we have no luck. I want love to move as soon as possible because I want to get high speed Internet connection. There are no DSL and cable modem services in my area. I could get IDSL, but I am not paying over $109.95 per month and with yearly contract. I almost got a DSL service, but GTE messed up at the last minute during their tests and four times! My house is too far from the central office (C.O.). Ugh, this is so frustrating and 26400 modem connection (2.8KB/sec is NOT fun if I have to transfer 100+ MB of files and telecommute) on a 56K modem is no fun! 100 MB file = 10 hours nonstop. Anyone want to give me a free T1 or better connection? I just hope God will find the new place soon. :(
